About the Artist

My name is Adrianna, the artist behind House of Whitney Needlepoint. I was raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida, just two blocks from the ocean, though my heart always seemed drawn to the countryside.
Mountains, forests, and quiet landscapes are where I feel most at home, and nature continues to be my greatest source of inspiration.

Before starting House of Whitney, I spent four years as a first grade teacher. After the birth of my daughter, I stepped away from teaching to spend time at home with her. That slower season of life gave me the space to return to creating and to explore my love for needlepoint in a deeper way.


Needlepoint is such a unique and collaborative art form. A design begins with the artist, but it is truly completed by the stitcher. Each person who picks up a canvas adds their own rhythm, color choices, and care, turning it into something entirely their own.
 
Through House of Whitney, I hope to create timeless designs inspired by nature, tradition, and the beauty of handmade things.
